Ella Faulkner

About Brucie's

Ella Faulkner, a UK registered Dietitian provides tailored, continued and supportive nutritional advice and services to clients and the corporate sector.

During her time in the National Health Service (NHS) working as a specialist dietitian, Ella realised there was a need to offer individuals more time and continued support.

Prior to becoming a registered dietitian, Ella qualified as a chef and worked at a gastro pub where she developed great skills of cooking, recipe ideas and flavour combination. Ella has a considerable passion for all things food, health and fitness and therefore is grateful to be able to call this 'work'. Ella is on a mission to help everyone live a better and healthier life through the food we eat.

Brucie's was born in 2025, when Ella decided to start to freelancing. Bruce, Ella's father, sadly lost his life at the young age of 49 to bowel cancer. Ever since, Ella has paid key attention to her gut health and wants to support individuals live a healthy and fulfilled life. Bruce was a keen runner and very healthy individual, and inspired Ella in many ways. In 2025, Brucie's was born as her fathers legacy.

Why see me?

With a passion for helping people feel their best, I gained my expertise through four years of specialist training in Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Surrey, leading to my HCPC registration. As a registered dietitian, my title is legally protected- meaning you can be assured that my knowledge and practice meet the highest professional standards. Every recommendation I give is grounded in robust, evidence-based science and tailored to your individual goals, so you can move forward with confidence knowing your health is in safe, expert hands.

While both dietitians and nutritionists can be highly knowledgeable, there are some important differences. In the UK, “dietitian” is the only nutrition-related title protected by law, requiring an approved degree, registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and adherence to strict clinical and ethical standards. Nutritionists may also hold relevant degrees and can choose to register with professional bodies such as the Association for Nutrition, but the title itself is not legally protected. Choosing a registered dietitian ensures your care is provided by a regulated healthcare professional with the highest level of clinical training.

“Ella was extremely helpful, listening and suggesting ways to encourage healthy eating and living life to the full. I'm so grateful for her guidance and knowledge in helping me move forward. I've been so frustrated with yo yo dieting and she has encouraged me to think differently about food..rather than living in permanent guilt! I have always been an emotional eater and this has been my greatest hurdle. But Ella has advised me to make small changes adding in more fibre and eating protein every meal. And having small chunks of dark chocolate when I get those evening cravings of something sweet! As a mature lady I really want to feel and look good! So I would definitely recommend Ella. Thanks Ella. Xx"
